The Sabres are loaded again with porspects that could very easily make the transition next year to the Sabres,
1. Chris Thorburn C-W-6-3 220lbs- could easily fill void from Mike Greir, very solid checker and can be good fit for smaller roster had good year in AHL and played well while up here for a few
2. Mark Mancari-W-6-3 225lbs- was one of Rochester's best players and can play both D and W, he is very good in front of the net and has good skills on offense.
3. Nathan Paetcsh-D- 6-0 200lbs- showed very good skill and defensive mind set in playoffs this year when called up on emergency basis, did not look like a rookie, was rochester's best D
4. Clarke MacArthur-C-6-1 191lbs- very good skater, fast and good with puck also will be pushing for time
5. Drew Stafford- C-W- 6-2 212lbs- Michael Peca clone, very good penality killer and fore checker, can score and very sound, plays with nasty streak and is not afraid to hit
6. Marek Zagarapan- C- 6-1- 190lbs-World of potential and is scary with puck and speed combination, has very good scoring touch and outstanding shot
7.Dylan Hunter-W- 6-0- 200lbs- showing a lot his last couple of years and has NHL bloodlines, hits and grinds and can play this year, will likely be in AHL but shows all the things needed to be successful in NHL.
8. Mike Funk- 6-4- 208lbs- Mike Wilson clone good with puck and in offensive zone, can skate and plays powerplay, not to much with the body
9.Danillee Paille- 6-0- 200lbs plays hard and not afraid to mix it up, i would be surprised if he made the team next year probably will be in AHL, not a scorer but can do the little things and also penalty kills
10. Jiry Novitny- 6-3- 208lbs- Can play in the Nhl needs to be more consistent, finishs checks and plays all aspects of the game well
In my opinion, Chris Thorburn, Nathan Paetsch, and Mark Mancari will be up next year and the two sliders will be drew stafford and dylan hunter, this gives Buffalo more size and physicalness thru out the roster
