My point is 7 teams ranked 15 and higher made the playoffs inluding the team that went to the Super Bowl as well as a team predicted to be dead last. This is just one preseason prediction before the 2005 season, but if you check around, you see many like it.

No matter what anyone thinks about any team, the games still get played. Dont tell the players where they're supposed to finish among the league. Anyone can beat anyone on any given sunday, and the Bills have just as good a chance at making the playoffs as anyone.

The Bills have just as good a chance as making the playoffs as anyone? If you had to bet $100 on either the Bills or the Colts to make the playoffs, who would you pick?

These rankings are meaningless. What other teams did in other years is meaningless. What isn't meaningless is that the Bills were 5-11 last year and went for youth and depth over immediate improvement. What isn't meaningless is the Bills have new coaches and new systems on both sides of the ball. What isn't meaningless is that the Bills still have question marks at QB. What isn't meaningless is that it's almost impossible to go from 5-11 to playoffs in one year in the salary cap era.

and it's ridiculous to say every team has as good a shot at making the playoffs. This isn't a random contest- talent and experience plays a huge part. Some teams are better than others and have a much better shot at making the playoffs.

Also, the Bears had one of the best D's in the NFL and played in the weakest division in the NFL last year. That's hardly the case for Buffalo- OOOOPSS

15-1 in 2004

Then won it all last year. Where there's talent...there's hope.
