#8: Will Tim Anderson Be Challenged for NT Job?

Since the release of veteran defensive tackle Sam Adams, Tim Anderson has been sitting at the top of the Bills depth chart at the nose tackle position. He got there partly by default since at the time the only other defensive tackles on the roster were LaWaylon Brown, Jason Jefferson and Lauvale Sape. Anderson was the only one with a respectable amount of playing experience.

That's not to discount Anderson's capabilities. Defensive line coach Bill Kollar has liked what he's seen out of him.

"Last year was really the first time that he played and he was more or less getting his feet wet," said Kollar of his evaluation of tape of Anderson from 2005. "He's a big, tough guy that works his (tail) off. When you have those attributes it at least gives you a good chance."

Triplett, Anderson, McCargo and Williams will probably rotate. Anderson played well the last 4 games.

    We'll see in camp.
