All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Mularkey Will Be a Different Kind of OC for the Fins Than Linehan
'The offense is going to be more controlled and more balanced,'' receiver Chris Chambers said. ``Linehan liked to go downfield a little bit more. Early in the year last year, we were throwing up balls just to be throwing it up. Now there's a reason behind a lot of the stuff we're doing. [Mularkey] wants a tough, physical team. I like his approach.''
It could be smoke and mirrors. We know how MM likes to try to have a competitive advantage from being tricky or secretive.
Re: Mularkey Will Be a Different Kind of OC for the Fins Than Linehan
He may end up being the same goof that he was in Buffalo. On the other side there may be some sour grapes here if he was to be successful w/ a tweaked gameplan and new personell with a lot less responsibilities, especially if he was to learn any lessons from his tenure here:
if you continue to do what you've always done, you'll continue to get what you've always gotten. guaranteed.

Dolphin fans listen. You may or may not like the Mularkay signing. Being a Bills fan, I find it hilarious. And you will too when Ronnie Brown is involved in a fake fieldgoal, halfback option pass to an eligible lineman down by 3 on the goal line with 8 sec. left on the clock.

He was awful here and that's a fact so you can't say we're sourgraping. On the other hand, he may very well be successful in Miami. The thing about his playcalling though is that, it's conservative. Unlike Linehans where he can burn you for big plays, MM tends to go dink and dunk.
It should be interesting to see how he copes w/ halftime adjustment when D's start changing things around. The bills were good in the first couple of qtrs. Horrible towards then end of the game. You saw it Papacrunk when in the first game against your fish, we almost blew it and then blew it in the 2nd game.
The thing is, Moolarkey couldn't get his players to rally around him while Saban can. That could be a good combination. If our coaches can get our D up to speed and fly to the ball, it's gonna be fun watching MM call his trick plays. I don't think Culp's gonna be running away like he used to.
"and Culp get's sacked , fumbles and lost the ball for the third time today"

He kept preaching about simplifying the O and not asking players to do what they can't do ,then attempted to make Roscoe throw just right after coming back from a broken hand
