may the battle for the basement of the AFCE begin!

We'll probably both be 0-2 going into that game.

07-14-2006, 08:42 AM
i dunno, we have tennesee and then NE at home....... we COULD be 1-1, we probably WONT be 0-2, but 1-1 is very possible

i'd like to see NE stumble out of the gate

OpIv37

Yeah beating Tennessee is possible- they still completely suck.

But I fully expect NE to kick our asses in week 1 and kick your asses in week 2.

Ironically I'll be rooting for the Jets the first two weeks of the season- I've despised Tennesee ever since the Music City Mirage and I ALWAYS want to see NE lose.

yeah, that was a forward lateral but i digress.......

only time i think i've ever enjoyed the patsies is against the fins....... but i really pray they are soft this year........... unlikely but i can beleive

OpIv37
07-14-2006, 08:51 AM
they'll be softer than they were in years past but probably still good enough to win the division- Miami is on the way up but probably not quite there yet, especially with Culpepper's injury, and the Bills and Jets are both pretty much rebuilding.

CuseJetsFan83

true, although maybe injury bug can hit again........... although im sure it will be yet another season of tedy bruschi tributes and babyface tom ala family guy is in store

I don't care who is playing the Jets, Dolphins, or Patsies; I cheer for their opponent. When they have to play against each other, I check out the standaings and cheer for who has the worst record. I really hope for a tie, but that's kind of rare. It's nothing personal if you are a fan of any of the 3 teams I mentioned. I am sure it't the same for any true fan when their are playoff impications.

Same here. If you want to visit me, I'll be w/ the crazies in the end zone/tunnel side and my crazy wife. We're in Section 123, row 11, seats 4 & 5.

from a Bills fan perspective that makes the most sense. But the downward spiral that led to the current state of the Buffalo Bills basically started with that moment. So it's hard to transcend my hatred of Tennessee, even when they're playing a division rival (unless it has direct playoff implications for the Bills of course).

At the moment, though, I would probably root for Tennessee over the Patriots.

Oh I completely understand. I can't stand to cheer for Dallas or Tennessee, but sometimes, it hurts.

I think we ALL want to see New England lose! Anyway, I might see ya, I'll be in the rock pile. I can't wait for that game in particular; Bills/Jets has always been my favourite game of the season!

expect lots of fights in the parking lot after the game. And make sure you listen to some of the post-game shows from the local Buffalo sports media- they will tear the team a new one (and rightfully so if we start 0-3 and lose at home to the lowly Jets)

You guys are missing out on the best tailgate area... The Pit baby!!

http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a85/scottlunn/normal_billszone-tailgate-map0.jpg

It's not on the Stadium's Property so the 9am rule doesn't apply. Last year we were in there at 7:30am, right in the corner closest to the road by the Field House. We got a nice headstart on you guys.

On another note, I wish I had known you guys were that close, could have come met you since I probably walked right by you multiple times!

for a typical game, probably 15-20 with another 10 or so stopping by.

For the opener, a hell of a lot more.

The 'jackass mentality' begins w/ expecting a bunch of fights.

would be nice, but even this optimist isnt that brazen on my choice....... although it really could happen...... if NE will be weak the best chances are those first few weeks (ie that bills drubbing the patriots opening day 04 i believe)

yes, yes i know..... fights happen everywhere..... not necissarily fisticuffs, but shouting etc......... i expect to have the anti-jets chants but its all clean fun..... as far as tailgaiting goes, anything i should bring?? but you also know how people are with alcohol.... it gives them liquid courage and lets just say........ i was there for some of the drew vs anti-drew games
