It's part of being a BILLS fan

If you grew up in the western NY area, you'll always be a homer, if you've got respect for your hometown that is.
And we're realistic from year to year, we're knowledgable football fans, and understand where our team is year to year, and hopefully optimistic for the best.
But whatever happens, we stick together, and that's what makes us the best fans in world.
But! A little drama in the offseason, keeps the juices flowing, doesn't it!
So, I'm still JPD, and put me on the HOMER list!
    GO BILLS!!!

No, the post does nothing for me and I'm a bills fan. Now I am a REALISTIC Bills fan, but a fan none the less.

Yeah Buffalonians are so damn tight! WOOOO! So tight they have the highest rate of people leaving per capita in the US! WOOOO! Man that is some really deep respect you guys have for ol Buffalo NY! (yep dripping with sarcasm)

Now I know Bills fans used to be knowledgable, but that has severely downgraded the last 10 or so years. Homerism doesnt' = Knowledge. It = Lemmings.

No. See only homers or WNY'ers have that way of thinking. Buffalo is such a hole that anyplace worth a damn MUST actually be heaven.

Ice, did something really bad happen to you in Buffalo, or why do you despise the city and region that much?

I moved away years ago, because I had a better job offer out of the area, but I love going back. WNYers are very friendly, they root hard for their teams and most - even though the economy has been down for a long time - have pride in Buffalo and WNY.

And the city is coming back. My wife and I always visit the downtown area to see how various projects like the Darwin Martin House restoration, the Erie Canal Terminal, the Zoo renovations, the Casino site preparations, and a lot of other things are progressing.

I love WNY and its people, and don't really understand your bitterness.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

I started traveling to Buffalo from time to time back in 95 after I got out of the service. These days, I'm up there every few weeks and I've seen a lot of changes for the better since 95
