All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
1. The chick is SMOKEN hot, think Matt hit that?
2. Would you rather have him or JP. (or Nall or Holcome I guess)
3. How bad do you want to be Matt Leinert?
4. Did I mention how hot this chick is?
2. Would you rather have him or JP. (or Nall or Holcome I guess)
That's a tricky question. The answer is yes I'd rather have Leinart then any of the Bills QB on the roster now. But if the Bills had Leinart on the roster this year, there would be no chance that the Bills would draft Quinn next year. So with that being said Im glad the Bills didn't draft Leinart.
Most Mock drafts next year have the Bills drafting Quinn. I hope they are right.

Assuming we suck this year, I agree..
I hear all the crap that Cutler has the stronger arm.. I'll take Leinart over Cutler anyday.

1. probably
2. JP. I like my QB to be able to throw a ball furthur then 10 yards.
3. he has a perm....no thanks.
4. once or twice.
1) Buffalo Bills-Brady Quinn, QB, Notre Dame
J.P. Losman is not the answer at quarterback for the Bills if they are picking first in the 2007 NFL Draft. The Bills could go in a different direction with the new coaching staff under Dick Jauron. Quinn is a franchise caliber quarterback who could step in immediately. The question arises, who would you rather have, Brady Quinn or J.P. Losman? I know my answer
Buffalo will finish ahead of the 49ers, but the team will be compelled to trade up to No. 1. The Bills can't afford pass up on Brady Quinn, especially since their current signal caller is the woeful J.P. Losman. However, given Buffalo's brutal track record in the draft, it will probably select someone like Akili Smith
2) No. 2 Buffalo Bills
Brady Quinn
QB, Notre Dame
Tutored by Charlie Weis in an NFL-style offense, the 6-foot-4 Quinn will be coveted by pro teams searching for the next Tom Brady. The Irish QB passed for 3,919 yards and 32 touchdowns in 2005.
5 0f the 10 Mock drafts I looked at for next year have the Bills selecting Quinn.
I wouldnt say at all we've had a "brutal record" in the draft.
The Bills generally due well with their 1st pick or 1st round picks in the draft. Recent histroy hasn't been so kind though. Since 2000 the Bills have selected with their first pick
2000: Erik Flowers (Bust)
2001: Nate Clements
2002: Mike Williams (Bust)
2003: McGahee (Injuried first year, not well liked by many realists)
2004: Evans/Losman (Looks more like a Bust then the next Manning , if Bills are picking that high in next years draft, then he can officailly be labeled a bust) Evans without Moulds? Time will tell.
2005: Parrish
2006: Whitner (questionable pick)
Actually McGahee is less liked by the "homers" because he doesnt live in Buffalo, go to OTA's, hang out on Chippewa, blahblahblah.
That is a pretty ugly list.. Though its WAY too early to judge that list with Losman, McGahee, Parrish and Whitner being so young..
I dont know why I"m not a JP Losman guy. He loves the town, he works hard and physically he has all the ability in the world.. I just think he's going to flop in his QB career for one reason and its the intangible that nobody talks about in here. He's just flat out STUPID. I think early in the season Holcomb starts and before the year is over its going to be NALL BALL in Buffalo.

2004: Lee Evans
2005: Roscoe Parrish
2006: Whitner
So 2 busts thus far that we know of. Doesnt seem so bad imo.

2 Busts: Erik/Mike
2 good players: Nate/Willis
1 rookie and a questionable pick: Whitner
1 WR: Evans; Can he step up and be a #1 WR?
1 WR: Parrish; Shouldn't be used on a WR pass play this year
1 QB: Leaning more towards Bustage then greatage. Like the first Mock draft I posted, If Bills are picking high enough to pick Quinn, the Losman project has failed.
