Bills Tag Price? Just hours after the his agent said he was skeptical of his return, it appears like Peerless Price will be back with the Bills next year. Reports have surfaced that the Bills have placed the franchise tag on Price. That would effectively take him off of the free agent market unless a team wanted to give the Bills two number one picks to sign him. If the report is true, Price will cost the Bills $5.03 million on next year's salary cap unless a long term deal is worked out. Players normally are adverse to the tag but Price said he doesn't mind it if the long term deal is reached. The Bills have said they won't break the bank to keep Price so a long, hard negotiating stance may take place. The Bills do have the option of removing the tag at a later time. We will have more details as they become available.
