Brodrick Bunkley reportedly plans to hold out of training camp until a contract has been agreed upon.
The Eagles' first-rounder will not report to Lehigh University, where the Birds hold their training sessions. Bunkley, who struggled to comprehend coordinator Jim Johnson's complex scheme in minicamps, was already behind the eight ball. Jul. 20 - 4:09 pm et

I did and will continue to support Marv, because he is bringing a winner back to this town right away, and into the playoffs in 07

I cant wait for Ice to see that when he comes back.. He's the one who pulled the Heel move and went from Homer to Bi-Polar (I refuse to call him a realist) because we didnt draft Bunkley or Ngata..

WHitner's pick is looking better each day :)

Ngata was my pick if Davis wasnt there. But Im loving Whitner pick more and more every day.

Yeah it will be funny. I'm sure he will have an excuse though.

i agree.. i wanted a D or O lineman.. other than justice.. but before the season has even started.. hell, before training camp has even started.. i am already happy we took whitner.. the safety is just too important in this scheme and he gives us a huge edge if he is the player that it truely looks like he will be.

I'm very happy we took Whitner, but it's also too early to write off Bunkley who, despite some initial problems, may very well turn out to be a good player.

Isn't that what every rookie does?

Isn't that what every rookie does? Most don't hold out that long.

Everyone is slotted. He wants more.

In the end- he will cost both himself and the Eagles money and progress

Did we miss Whitner's signing?

Whitner hasn't hit the press saying he will hold out.

Just like 2005, 2004, 2003. ect..ect..ect... the Bills will sign their lower picks first- working under the rookie cap allotment. Once those pieces are in place- the Bills will have Whitner signed. They need to know what's left of the allotment before inking him.

Just like years past, their top guy will be signed somewhere between 3 days prior to 3 days into camp.
