If we were GUARENTEED to get Brady Quinn, I'd take a 2-14 beating this season to have the next Jim Kelly here for a decade..

I know people will whine about that statement but I'd rather go 2-14 and get Quinn then go 5-11 and get the 9th pick.

BTW, Jarret and Johnson are BEASTS at WR, I could see the Jets taking one of them if they suck like I think they will this year.

I think its more interesting what they think of our football team for 2006 to be picking 1st..

I guess they don't realize that JP Losman is going to lead us at least to respectability, both ruining our chance at the number 1 overall pick, and negating the need for Quinn.

5 of the 10 drafts I looked at have the Bills drafting Quinn. I guess most media and most realistic fans arn't sold on JP Losman.

Other players I've seen the Bills picking 1st next year are, Calvin Johnson WR, Drew Stanton QB Michigan St., and 2 O-linemen. I forgot their names.

No way in hell the Bills are the worst team in football this year, however they could trade into the number 1 spot, that I could see. It would be costly, but I could see it for a player like Quinn.

And no way they're gonna take a QB anywhere in the first round without giving JP a fair shot first.

they have the Fins picking at 28 which would be nice. I do agree with FTP that there's no way the Bills will be the worst in the league

How about with the 32nd pick the Bills select the best DE available.

I really feel that if they let JP play all year we will have no need for a new QB. We then could look at O-Line or one of those beast WR. Jarret would be awesome hes got size to go with Evans on the other side it would be nice.

In June, I would have agged to tank the season in order to get Quinn, But I have chnnged my mind. If we go 2-14 that basically means we have regressed. So we will have waited a whole nother year, gotten worse, drafted a QB #1 overall, witch comes with the automatic attachment of 3 years to turn around. Say goodbye to Willis and Nate. We basically need to start over completely. I REALLY hope this does not happen.

FYI I would LOVE Samardzija at around 15.....

Yeah, Thomas was one of them. I thought it was 2 O-linemen but I looked up my old post and it was actually 3. The other 2 were

If JP doesnt produce THIS season, they're taking a QB in the draft next year or FA.. That's extremely obvious.. JP will have (hopefully) a one year audition.
