It seems Jerry Porter wants out of Oakland, if he were able to pass a physical, would you be willing to trade for him if you are Marv? He at least would be a known commodity tho not a superstar.

Here are last years stats.

He's better than Price and Reed. I think he'd make a decent #2. I wouldn't break the bank for him though.

Oakland is saying they want two #1 picks, of which Porter even conceded is ridiculous...

that would certainly not be worth it.

They can have Josh Reed and a 4th rounder.

talent wise he's worth a trade- He and Evans would be great together.

But we have too many WR's already, so unless we could sucker Oak into taking Reed or Price as part of a deal, then no..

I'd give Reed/Price and a mid rounder up for him in a NY minute, even a third rounder is fair value.. Porter is a serious player.

i think reed and a 4th would do just fine, for porter, or a 3rd, i would definetly take him

I am a bit concerned of these reports of a possible calf injury, otherwise if I were marv I would be calling.

We only received a 5th rounder for Moulds. Porter is younger, but nowhere near a 1st.

I'm sorry, I reposted this story by accident. I just noticed now that this was already here.

My bad.
