All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
All three of the quarterbacks looked like **** this afternoon. I was even asking around to see if it was just me and quite a few people thought all 3 stunk. There was at least 5 interceptions or should be interceptions.
JP better pick it up. He didn't look good today. Then again, it helps that Holcomb looked worse.
I"m not going to worry about this early, but my biggest fears at least from what I'm hearing very early into camp is coming true.
This team needs a LEADER at the QB position, we dont have the OL and the proven ground game nor a defense to just get by with a crappy QB who's only job is to not lose the game; ala Trent Dilfer, Brad Johnson, Chris Simms etc.
With this type of team, the QB is gonna have to win some games for us with his arm
I root against Holcomb because of our three QBs, he's the one who's least capable of making a positive difference with his play. He's a safe QB: if the rest of the team wins the game, he probably won't lose it for you. But if the rest of the team is losing it, he won't rescue them.
JP has the potential to do that IMO. His arm and mobility can make him a creative player who can ignite plays in ways Holcomb can't. And so far I have no reason to believe Nall can either.
With the state of the team as it is, we need the QB to make a positive difference. We need to gamble.

Those three guys you just mentioned are all pretty decent QB's. I don't know wtf you're talking about. Right now I would take any one of those guys over what we have right now.
