Whitner is either being selfish or Ralph is being his cheap ass self. Whoever it is needs to get off the high horse.

Id like to see Whitner there VERY soon. Today will be his 5th missed practice session.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

Considering that rookie salaries are slotted, I hghly doubt Ralph is the problem.

i bet the problem is that both parties can't agree to the length of the contract.

Huff signed for five years, 22.5 million, 15 gauranteed.

Sims signed for five years, still no other terms available.

If OBD is holding out for six years, they should stop and step into line with a five-year deal.

I'm guessing the hold-up may be gauranteed monies.

Since he's still holding out, his ass better play like a defensive rookie of the year this year for us. If you're holding out, you must be really confident enough that your abilities and talent aren't worth chump change.

He keeps holding out and he won't have a chance to play like the rookie of the year.
