Does anyone remember early in the season, maybe late October or early November, Vanek had an absolutely ridiculous chance that would've been hands down GOTY if he connected.

He skates in across the blue line, dumps it in, it rebouds straight back to him off the boards, and he smashes his own one-timer off the cross bar from a good 20 feet away.

It was jaw-dropping.

I voted for Connolly's "oh my timmy" goal against Philly cuz that was just sick although my favorite is probably Vaneks around the work because I remember sitting down watching that game and that was just the craziest **** ever, specially against Dom.

now Buffalo played against Tampa i think it was (oct. 13), it went into a shootout... Thomas Vanek scored in the shootout and i dont know if it was the GW or if it was just GT but either way, I remember Vanek scoring that goal and it gave me chills, it made me feel giddy or something lol I dont even know why I dont even remember it being a spectacular goal it was just like I was watching Vanek earn himself the title of Sabres future franchise player or something haha I dont know I just wish I could find it on video.
