His agent is a ****ing moron if he doesnt get him signed ASAP, like today! He's already missed a ton of time at mini-camps when he was still at school and now 5 practices. Dumb idea! Especially when you are competiting for the #1 job. :cynic:

I hope that they are just arguing about the 6-years vs. 5 years and if thats the case, a deal gets done quickly.

The lack of public verbage is a good sign.
If they weren't close they would have gone public, in my view.

I agree here. However, I am starting to get really t'd off! The fact that this kid went #8 is a gift. His agent better not be dragging this thing out!!

It's definitely his agent being a moron. I saw an interview with a former NFL GM (I can't remember his name), but he said these holdouts are almost always the agent's fault. He basically said EVERY player knows they need the reps, and none of them want to miss valuable time. He put full blame on the agent. I don't know if I'd go that far, but most of the blame falls on the agent for sure.

If Whitner is the character guy he is portrayed to be then he needs to get on his agents tail and tell him to get a deal done. It's not the Bills are not willing to talk.

Last I knew the agent works for the player. Whitner needs to get in the agents ass to get this done today.

I wish it were that simple. He really needs to get in asap.

Yeah, Whitner better come out playing like Ed Reed this year because as of right now I hate the guy.
