After Cincinnati placed the transition label on Takeo Spikes, guaranteeing he make $4.8 million in 2003, the Bills attention for a new weakside linebacker has turned to Shawn Barber. He was a rising star for the Redskins in 1999 and 2000 until an injury sidelined him in 2001 and Washington elected not to re-sign him. The Eagles' signed him for a season and now he's on the market again.

Maybe this is a sign that TD really does want to keep Peerless? Hell, I don't know what TD is doing anymore, not like I ever did in the first place.

OK, that must be a typo. It's "enema" wrapped in a condom surrounded by a fiddle.
Sheesh.

I would rather have Mike Pederson...or get a SLB and move Newman to WLB.

He does something you didn't expect, that often was better than what you were hoping for in the first place.

I'd like to get Simmons from Seatle to go with MP. Newman is most likely done with Buffalo, regardless of his ability.

Ideally I would want Simmons as well. There in lies a problem though. Yes, Newman is likely gone. We put Simmons at his SLB spot. Fletch manning the middle. But we still have a whole at WLB. I wouldnt be as bad if we had to rely on Spoon/Favors for the SLB spot, but they just wont cut it at WLB IMO, thats why I think going after a WLB is more likely.

I like the top names like most other people, but I think by not going after the players people think we are going after, we might be able to get the best team at the best price.
I am thinking TD might swap Price for some draft picks, and i really think he is going after an impact DL man or two.
Rosy Colvin, two GOOD DLinemen, and a good WLB would make a HUGE impact on our team. Rosy would add a ton of sacks to our team, his and the ones our DEs will get with O linemen tripping themselves up to block everyone.

i really have no interest in barber.. if he was any good, why did the eagles only keep him for one year.. especially after letting kirkland go?
no thanks.. i will pass on him.
i would take simmons in a heartbeat.. hell.. i would take maslowski over barber
