Since Spikes was Tagged... and We dont have a first round draft pick.

Is it (at the time of this thread start) possible to even get him? I thought it was set in stone that we give up our 1st rounder if we win price match war.

And, could this add further fire to the Price Tagging? We are hoping to get a first rounder so we can then go after Spikes?

spikes is tagged with a transition tag not a franchise tag... I don't believe they get the first round pick as compensation.
