2 Jets games we have - Jets have major "IF's"
1 Minnesota game
1 Chicago game
1 detriot game
1 houston game
1 tennesee game
1 Baltimore game

So half of our schedule is loaded with "If" laden teams and we are doomed? Who is spewing this BS?

Skooby, this post is ridiculous. Every team on our schedule except the Jets, the Lions and maybe the Titans have less "if's" than we do.

Does that mean they're definitely better than us? No, but it means they have a hell of a lot less to overcome in order to have a good season, and hence have a better chance than we do at this point.

When you put it this way, I see us winning no less than 5 games and no more than 9, with 7-9 being a slightly optimistic, but still realistic, projection. Honestly, if we go 7-9 and play tough in our losses, how can anyone be upset. That, my fellow aficionados, is progress. On the other hand, if we go 5-11 and get blown out a bunch of times, we'll have a lot to talk about next Xmas.
