Just got a message from Mikey, Lee Evans hurt at camp.

Did walk off the field under his own power.

hopefully nothing serious- if it is, we're in trouble.

Only good thing is we get to see more from our other WR which we need plus hopefully Nance gets some more time

Mikey says he was grabbing his leg.

Anyone think that all the wr's that MArv brought in for competition was a mistake ? Dang this Wait and see system

Mikey says he was grabbing his leg. Hammy or knee?

We really can't lose anyone for any time at this point. But then again, this is a rebuild year so if it was going to happen, its better it happens this Camp

Hope it's not serious, because he's the only dude on the roster that can be a legit #1, and even he still has to prove that he's capable of that.

He thinks his hammy.

yea figured the Hammy, shut him down the rest of the week, and lets get a good look at the other kids.

agreed, we know what he can do. Let the other guys get reps, let Lee play in the first preseason game some.

I wonder how the "hamstrings" are doing in Rusty's camp? Rusty Jones that is.

None of them are good enough to replace Evans so what's the point?

Right on time as usual.

Agreed. NEVER said anyone of them were.

However , would it be better for you to see Evans down and have only 2-3 wrs left in the roster? better more wrs than not enough. The again you'll always find something negative in that.

2-3 left on the roster? No team goes into the season with only 3 or 4 WR's on the roster. Get serious.

Most teams just don't sign a ton and go into the season with about 9 WR's on the roster though.

OK, I'm just getting this info after it was passed around to 20 + in the office. Hope it's still accurate..

Something about the Doctors being able to save Bob Evans arm ?

I guess back a couple of years ago, the Bills shouldn't have bothered with Jason Peters because he was this big, gawky kid who probably was too slow to make a good TE ...

Evans is critical to this offense as he's NEEDED to help out whomever is QB'ing.

We're trying to determine who our No. 2 guy is, the last thing we need is to have to try and find a No. 1.

but hopefully this isnt serious and not an issue.. Everybody gets dinged up in camp.

Relax. It is prob. just a cramp or something like that. Its high 90's out with heat index over 105... Prolly just needs to hydrate and he'll be back

You're using the exception to prove the rule.

Maybe Marv should sign me. I'm 27 and I've never played organized football, but with the right conditioning and training, who's to say I couldn't be a late blooming star?

Bills top receiver Lee Evans made everyone watching practice hold their breath for a few seconds. After diving to try to pull in a pass during the two-minute drill, Evans remained on the ground for several seconds. When he got up he was examining his wrist and trying to flex it. He did not return to action for the last 10 minutes of practice. Afterwards he said he was fine, as he stayed after practice to do some extra conditioning work with Nate Clements.
"I just landed it on it wrong and it kind of popped in and out of place," said Evans. "It's alright though."

Oh, i didn't realize it was his wrist. He fell down and then was rolling around and needing help getting up. It looked like a hamstring injury, but now that wrist thing makes sense. Thanks.

Marv likes high character people. you'd be complaining that cones are in your way during drills.

I think Jason Peters would make a sick @$$ tight end.

Unfortunately, he's more valuable to us as a tackle.

Did you see that Terrence McGee return against the Saints? Watch #71, Jason Peters and see where he starts out and then how fast he gets down the field. He's with McGee for most of the field.

Serious? You're 27? By the way you constantly ***** and moan I thought you were like 60.

Just kidding buddy. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and you know I respect yours. I just like to give you crap once in awhile. You know I'm good for it.

In truth I did think you were much older. That said, I sure hope the Bills get good soon because I cannot imagine how you are going to be ten years from now if we still suck.
