PITTSFORD, N.Y. (AP) -- Buffalo Bills starting receiver Lee Evans missed practice Thursday night because of a bruised left shoulder.
Coach Dick Jauron referred to the injury as minor and added the player is considered day-to-day. The injury occurred in practice Wednesday, when Evans landed awkwardly after catching a pass. Evans was also held out of the team's walkthrough earlier in the day. Buffalo's first-round draft pick in 2004, he is slotted to take over the No. 1 job after the team traded veteran Eric Moulds to Houston in April.
