Texans | Lewis Released - posted at KFFL (http://nfl.kffl.com)
13:39 PT: Updating previous reports, HoustonTexans.com reports the Houston Texans have released WR Jermaine Lewis. He was set to count $4.66 million against the team’s salary cap in 2003.

What do you think guys? If we can get him for cheap...I think we should go for it and he could be the 3rd WR when we trade Price and Reed is the 2nd WR. :D

Interesting idea :D
He's got speed and starting experience so he would be a fit at #3 if we have Josh at #2

I like the idea of obtaining him for KR. His abilities as a WR have been subpar. Although probably good enough to be a 3rd receiver, but he'll have to come way down in price.

I still prefer MarTay Jenkins in that situation.

Jenkins is not as GREAT for KR as Lewis is.

Mike, read my Return Game post. It doesn't matter how great your returner is if he doesn't get any help.

Charlie Rogers WILL be our KR next year.

He broke almost every bills returning record his first year here.

His Kickoff return won us a huge game

He is the best at kickoffs that has ever suited up in a bills uni.

He is cheap(not 4.66 MILLION dollars)

Leave him alone.

yes, but signing this dude, would be a HUGE waste of money. Much better to just re-sign Rogers... again, read my other thread.
