I just don't understand how anybody could want this guy as the starter. He does absolutely nothing for this franchise by being the starter.

a) He doesn't win (see last year's debacle)
b) He doesn't bring any hope to the future of this franchise (33 year old, career backup)
c) He doesn't bring any excitement to the game. (dumpoffs do nothing for me!)

People who want Holcomb as QB have no vision for the future. Of course, that would make sense since Holcomb seems to only see 3 yards in front of him! :lolcry:

I don't see why anyone would want JP either.

He can beat out Holcomb who:
a) He doesn't win (see last year's debacle)
b) He doesn't bring any hope to the future of this franchise (33 year old, career backup)
c) He doesn't bring any excitement to the game. (dumpoffs do nothing for me!)

Not can't. Just hasn't.

And Eli would never have beaten out Warner due to his experience. THey just gave him the job and stuck with him.

No chance? How about last season? And camp thus far?

I have a homework assignment for you. Go look at Eli Mannings numbers from his first season and then compare them to Losmans...what do you see? Now do you understand why people would like to see him given a full season to blossom?

I have some homework for you. Look at Giants game for last season. Eli blows. It's a terrible comparison. Eli isn't Peyton and never will be.

Did you watch any Giants games last year?

Yes, and he doesn't suck, he's just young. It was his first full year as a starter and he did very well.

Then you didn't watch many Giants games. You're probably duped by the media hype.

I can't support Holcomb after that 4th down pass in New England last year.

I lost all the confidence I never had on that play!!

I'm supporting whoever the coaches decide is the starter on opening day...I don't care if it's Losman, Holcomb, or Nall.

I have a feeling that billsfanone is doing this because he just likes to stir up trouble. He truely doesn't give a **** about the QB competition and is probably laughing his ass off right now at his desk. :ill:

ditto
Last year, I expected Losman to make physical errors such as timing...all part of growing pains. Mental errors are less acceptable...and a 10-year vet made a mental error that cost us any shot at winning the game...a few weeks later, Losman converted in a similar situation

Terrible post! He hasn't even had the chance, what are you talking about?

So far he has had 3 chances. It's no one's fault but his own that he keeps blowing them.

If JP played good we wouldn't even be talking abuot sucky Holcomb.

We could probably consolidate all 100 of the other threads that read exactly like this one and then condense that thread to 2 posts.
Aren't you guys sick of the same discussion over and over and over?

If Eli Manning got pulled everytime he looked bad his first year he wouldn't look as good as he did last year. No, Losman hasn't had the chance...that is, a fair chance, to see what he can do. Case closed!

Did you watch any Giants games last year?
I did. I live in the NYC area and watch the Giants a lot. Eli showed a GREAT improvement over his first year. He isn't Peyton, and never will be, but he definitely showed improvement.
