The red jersey had a great logo!
The crossed SABRES over a black circle.
Sure beats that stinking SLUG!

I thought that was a great logo, and was wondering what other Sabre fans thought. I saw you used the logo on your mock new jersey, it sure beats that Slug!

The Sabres kind of looked butter knife/cartoony. Maybe update the swords to look more serious.

Sounds good, they did look cartoony.
But I'd rather have sabres than just a buffalo head, and nothing so far beats the original with both, it said it all, buffalo sabres!

I don't mind the third jersey logo... I have a third jersey, so now I feel like it's going to waste since it wasn't used very much, and now it's not being used at all... Maybe that logo will go on the arms... who knows?

My red third is crested with Hasek, so it is already kinda useless anyway. Don't get me wrong, I love Hasek and all, just, it looses the nastalgia with him being on other teams and not retired as a sabre.... not the same as a Perrault or Robert jersey...

By the way...

I hope when designing the new jerseys they follow the prime directives...

With our new 3rd jersey being the good old original, it's time for me to get a new Perreault, my original is game abused :snicker2:
I won't be spending my hard earned money on the Slug, unless it goes with a STANLEY CUP!!!

I wasn't a huge fan of the red jerseys. They were ok but nothing special.

Anyone ever realize that the swords on the 3rd jersey had blood on them?

Red on the blades. I thought it was a nice touch, even if unintentional.

The 3rd Jersey was pretty freakin cool. How about the shoulder patch being on the chest though? The B with the Sabre through it? And maybe a Buffalo head on the shoulder?
