full storyThe Bills made a decision that wasn't completely unforeseen Monday when they released veteran linebacker Jeff Posey.
Posey, who served as the starting strong side linebacker the past three seasons for the Bills, was not deemed a fit in the team's new defensive scheme. Posey's skills didn't match what the linebackers in this system are required to do. In Perry Fewell's scheme they play off the ball and need to flow to the football.

honestly, Posey has never been a huge part of this D and he's definitely slowed down- he had to go sooner or later. But being that TKO's status is still questionable and we have no one to replace him with, later would have made more sense.Comment
