Camp tour: Come on, give J.P. his chance already
Not sure if this was posted yet:
Quotes:
"Question: If the Bills believed they couldn't go anywhere with Bledsoe, why should they believe they can get there with Holcomb?"
Good question...
"...he's (Losman) a puzzle waiting to be solved. You know what you have in Holcomb, and what you have is a veteran who can win games here and there and occasionally produce a superlative performance. With Losman, you have no idea. All you know is that he has a world of talent waiting to be developed."
Love the puzzle line. The question is, will we solve it?
"The Bills don't need Peyton Manning to man the position. McGahee looks so good this summer you'd have to believe that whoever wins the job stays busy handing him the football. Plus, the defense can't help but improve over the unit that last year plunged from 2nd in 2004 to 29th, which means the quarterback may not be asked to play from behind as often ... which also means he can run McGahee that much more."
True... hopefully...true.

Either JP is the guy, or we get someone else. the ONLY way to know if he is the guy is to play him 16 games.

I agree: Superb article! The Five things that you should knwo were excellent as well. I knew that he was at training camp because he did a podcast for the Rochester D & C a few days ago, but it also seems that he took the time to do his homework before and while he was there. Those who do not learn from the past are doomed to repeat it. And, thus it was that they surrendered their freedom; not with a bang, but without even a whimper.

Unlike ast year JP isn't going to be sitting pretty even after he wins the job. This means he's not gonna take the job for granted.

great, im glad to hear that if the bills somehow think the best thing is to pull the named starting QB again, theyre going to be the national laughing stock and have even less respect than the organization has already. hopefully evans quote there is a reflection of how the whole team feels, and hopefully the team is seeing more in Losman....that article is a nice change of thought.

Re: Camp tour: Come on, give J.P. his chance already
Good article. However, hear is a thought I haven't heard expressed very often. Maybe what is happening in camp with the competition between Holcomb and Losman (down from Holcomb, Losman and Nall) is actually good for Losman. Maybe he needs this competition to really feel psychologically that he has taken hold of the position. He has almost said so in endorsing the competition earlier this year.I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.
I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.
