We haven't made the playoffs in 6 years. We will be playing a lot of unproven young guys on defense. We're not sure if Willis is going to run like Jim Brown or James Brown. Our O line continues to be a question mark. We have a ton of speed at WR.

I really think we have AT LEAST as good a chance to win NOW, and a MUCH BETTER chance to win in the FUTURE, with JP.

I think Kelly Holcomb should be the initial starter.

The offense seemed more fluid with him at the helm in 2005, so I think he gives the Bills the best chance to win on the road against two good teams to open the season.

Plus, the first games are against division rivals & the atmosphere is going to be very hostile. Starting JP Losman in that situation is like throwing him to the wolves. If he loses, I think it could set him back.

Ultimately, I think Kelly Holcomb will play fairly well but get hurt at some point during the season; after all he has a long history of injuries. The silver liningis that JP Losman seems to play his best when he comes off the bench. When he's out to prove something, is when he plays his best. IE; Kansas City & Miami.

So ultimately, I think the Bills should start the season with the quarterback that gives the team a better chance to win now -- but most likely end the season with JP Losman -- who will be in an ideal situation to play his best football & hopefully assume his role as the quarterback of the future.

H...they have done nothing so far. Jaruon is coming in with a losing record and is 0-0. I will start fully backing the guy when he starts putting up winning seasons.

I've been voting Losman for over a year. However, let me clarify, that still does not mean I think Losman is a lock to be a solid NFL starter. It simply means I think Holcomb is a lock for mediocrity and the Bills have to learn whether Losman's arm and athleticism can turn into solid production. He has great upside which will continue to be a mystery until the coaching staff decides to pussyfoot around no longer and jump in the boat with Losman.
