Re: Roger Goodell new NFL commish
This news is VERY good news for the future of the Bills in Buffalo. Goodell has WNY ties and it has been said that he would be very favorable for small market teams. I'm extremely excited to hear this for me and for fellow Bills fans!

Re: Roger Goodell new NFL commish
When asked about the difference between the large market and small market owners he said something like 'they are more in common than you think' Or something like it.
From what little he said, I don't know if Ralph is going to get the help he thinks he needs. But we will see.

Unanimous decision...and I'd say a Jamestown, NY native would do more to help the Bills than any other selection would

Time will tell. He still needs to answer to likes of Jones, snyder, et al, as well as the old schoolers like Ralph.YardRat Wall of Fame

Re: Roger Goodell new NFL commish
Again he has to get nearly 32 owners to agree on issues. If ralph and 4 others say one thing and the other 27 say no, the commish has to side with the 27.
If you get a chance look at the speech again when they replay it on NFLN. He didn't seem to me like he is going to go out of his way to help the small market teams. The 'They are not as different as you think(I believe he said) is what got me.
I know he says he wants to strengthen all 32 teams, but that may mean ralph needs to do more to get more help. Naming rights, increased ticket amounts etc. Roger knows the area so ralph won't be able to BS him into thinking things are worse than they are.
We will see. But I know this, they have until the end of october I think to fully sign off on the CBA and they can't do that until the revenue sharing is taken care of.
