I started this thread to let you all know where to sign up, and to discuss league settings. Please continue using the other thread to let us know who's signing up.

Draft is live on Yahoo!, currently set for Monday, Aug 28 6:45pm Eastern Time. This can be changed (open for discussion), but I had to pick something during the setup procedure, and this sounded as good as anything.

For now, I have all the standard settings (including ten teams), with one exception: Fractional Points are being used. I've been in leagues that don't do fractional points, and it's ridiculous the number of ties, and W-L effect. (If you've ever lost because someone got 99 yards instead of 100, you know what I mean. :down: )

Of course, everything is open for discussion. Feel free to voice your opinions/suggestions here. That's why I started the thread.

Here's a conversation starter: Do you think Nov 17 is too early a trade deadline? I think that's only week 11, or so.

Can we set a limit to make changes to the draft time? Say perhaps midnight on 08-16-06? After that date the draft date/time is set in stone and will not be changed.

I had a problem once because halbert changed the draft time on a league the night before the draft because it conflicted with another draft he was in. I'd like to put this on my schedule and be sure that's the time it's going to be.

Absolutely. I think I was in that league, too. Got screwed by autodraft. :down:

The 16th is reasonable, but I'll also make sure we have at least one week's notice.

I'd like to once again ask for feedback regarding our league settings. Anything is open for discussion. My major concern is the draft date . . . is everyone ok with the chosen day/time?

Draft date is good! I wouldn't mind a WR/R spot also, but it's not that big of a deal though. Again I like the fractional points.
