I'll tell ya that J. McCown kid is going to take us places. While it may only be preseason our team came to play and found a way to win. I told my guys to keep it close and we can make things happen to finish off the game.

My offense moved the ball great but couldn't punch it in. We had the ball twice inside the 5 yard line and kicked a FG.

I did have one or two stupid questions for people that have played before.

1) I am in a tied game, I have the ball on my opponent;s 8 yard line, (2nd down), with 37seconds left on the clock and my team chooses to run. Last play of the game. Is there a way to tell the game I want to kick a field goal instead?

2) Earlier in the game it chooses to go for it on 4th and 1 from the 1 - can I influence that decision?

3) Our game had a couple of challenges, I was curious why after some of the challenges the game indicated 2down and 0 yards to go, then 3rd down and 0 yards to go. Thankfully I made the 1st down. (This was my stupid question)

You got nothing to worry about if Weis is the coach. He is clearly lolling the rest of us into a false sense of security.

2. Yes. Have playa change all of your 4th and less than 3 settings from inside the opponents 9 yard line to runs/passes/whatever.
3. No clue.

Key to winning in this league is 3 things imo. Stopping the run on defense, having a strong offensive line and having solid special teams. You do those 3 and I'd have a hard time believing you don't make the playoffs.

Well, at the moment my DE's and LB's suck so there goes stopping the run. My OL has 2 guys rated as 5.5 starting so there goes the OL.

I drafted Brick and Davin Joseph so I'm hoping they come around quick. Still looking for DE's and LB's though. That will be next year after another high draft pick(s)
