are too hard on KH. JP is a bit flashier. He definately is a bigger threat. However, no matter who starts the other QB could find themselves at the helm very easily. the game being played with either QB is a lot different. KH isn't as bad as folks are saying.

Kelly holcomb friggin SUCKS. He is at best an average backup and YES he is as bad as we say he is.

I just hope the first string OL plays worth a damn next week for JP. Then we can end this farce of a QB competition.

Not only should Holcomb not be our starting QB, he should retire. He's washed up. He never had a decent resume to begin with (7-18 record, 37-48 TD-turnovers), and now he's clearly regressing. He is not an option. He's done.

Umm, yes...Holcomb is that bad. In fact, I think it is fair to say that he sucks! What are you watching?

Regardless how good or bad KH is, JP needs to start to see if he is the future of the Bills. Holcomb isn't the future of any team. We need to see if JP can take the next step and become a decent NFL QB or if we should be looking at trying to draft Quinn next year or picking up a good free agent.

actually, Holcomb played worse than I expected him to

WTH have you been looking at since last season, Typ0? This guy is terrible.

It's funny. I hear some people say they think Brett Farve should retire because he's old and washed up but then some people(some of the same people) will sit here and say Kelly Holcomb should be starting for us.

I think he resembles Alex Van Pelt.

They must have the same dietician.

Holcomb would have to improve to be considered terrible.

KH was downright awful last night. He acted like he was in slow motion. He was typical Holcomb. 3rd an 15 and so he completes a dump out pass. His interception was putrid. He had nothing on the ball and the defense read it out easily.

Kelly has gotten WORSE this offseason. Age has caught up with him and he didn't have that much talent in the first place.

Starters v starters he got ate up. We didn't move the ball for spit. Guess what? Its starters v starters when the bullets fly for real. This guy has no business even sniffing the starting job now.

I just want to see a decent gameplan against cinci and the veterans play hard for JP. If they do that, JP will end this joke of a competition this week

Kelly Holcomb has really gone downhill lately. The funny thing is, when camp started, he didn't look that bad. But this was the worst week for him in training camp. He was putrid at the night practice on Tuesday and not that much better on Thursday night and he has helped the defense look awesome with all the INTs or close to INTs that he has thrown at camp. Now to see him start off the preseason with a INT, I don't know. I knew his arm sucked, but his head isn't working right either right now. I saw some pretty stupid decisions last night. :ill:

I don't know Typ0. Holcomb crapped the bed last night. The TD pass was horrible. Whenever he had any pressure he showed Bledsoe-like mobility.

Granted he only had a few series and JP had more to get into a rythm. But if he does not pick it up next week, the decision is clear.

Holcomb looked terrible last night...no excuses.

JP did get to play with the first-stringers in the second quarter, basically.

I thought you maintained the QB competition was a farce because Jauron already had Holcomb penciled in as the starter? Are you changing your mind on that point? If anything, in hindsight, you'll probably be able to argue that if it was rigged, it was rigged in JP's favor. Which some tried to point anyway.
