Allen Wilson, of the Buffalo News, reports the Buffalo Bills broke out their black football shoes Saturday night, Aug. 12, the first time in 30 years they didn't wear white shoes to start a season. The black footwear was so popular with the players, last year's team captains asked owner Ralph Wilson if the team could make the change permanent. Wilson agreed, so the Bills will be wearing black cleats throughout the season.
