I have a strong feeling that JP is gonna stay a sabre, i think the sabres offer might be a little better than what he is feilding otherwise i think he would have made a decision by now...

other possibilities are Montreal and LA, and Detriot

i agree his comments are interesting, he was here in Buffalo with Danny B and they were doing a celebrity street hockey game for camp good days yesterday and he was quoted as saying the sabres are in the mix and he loves it here and has been here 5-6 years

Buffalo offered him a contract below what he was awarded because he isn't worth what he was awarded. Team's don't exactly seem to be offering him $2.9 mil....or maybe he is mulling over the 7 or 8 contracts from different teams @ $2.9 mil... :rolleyes:
