I would start Nall next week just to see what we've got. It can't get much worse.

Nalll should start next week. 3 drives, 2 TDs so far. Better then both Losman and Holcomb.

I have a feeling this isn't going to be settled after this game. JP did enough poorly to justify dragging this out one more week, and at least giving Nall a shot earlier in the game against Cleveland.

JP appears to be the untimely reincarnaction of Rob Johnson. You all have no idea how much I hate saying that. Well maybe you do...

Someday, some people here will understand the learning curve of an NFL QB :sigh:

Whens this curve take effect? 3 years in the NFL is not long enough to learn? Maybe after 4 years? 5? 6?

Nall post game...

"I need to go out this week and prove I deserve to start." (In reference to the next game.)

"I moved the ball...managed the clock...didn't turn the ball over."

RJ looked pretty good last night against the Chiefs!

Actually, it was Bill Walsh who said 32 games, but you were close :D

But it doesn't take either of them to know that bashing JP is absurd at this point in his career. What percentage of QBs were consistent, productive starters at the same point? This is a very simple concept. Emotional fans want him to be all that now, but that just isn't supported by history.

Nall sounds like a locker room cancer waiting to happen. I see he was taking shots at JP.

this is now his 3rd year, so you cant really say 3 years in the NFL is not long enough to learn. his first year was a wash because of the broken leg. last year he was inconsisten becuase he was basically a rookie getting his first playing time. more importantly, the fact you least understand, for a qb the only was to improve is to be on the field playing. how can he improve being on the sideline? why do you refuse to give JP a chance?

Is this supposed to be a joke? Because I don't get it.

I agree about the JP bashing, but the Nall bashing is just as absurd to this point especially as he made all his haters put their foots in their mouths this evening.

I'm completely neutral on Nall. I see nothing in his history that suggests he's the guy, but if he earns it, I'll be all for him.

One thing he failed to mention was that he played against guys who won't be playing much this season.

Yeah TD it certainly takes longer than 8 regular season games to get it.

Sure, he's playing against the dross that JP was playing against last week when he was anointed the saviour (rightly, based on what we saw last week!) but he didn't make any mistakes.

He's a good guy (friends and I knew him, went out drinking with him, while he was playing in Scotland). He's ambitious and he wants a shot to start - which is why he's going to talk himself up - but I don't think he's a cancer. He knows that after hanging around GB and watching them sign Rodgers, that this is his chance to get a team to take him seriously and there's no way he's going to lie meekly down and hand it to anyone else.

I say play Nall with the starters next week. They all deserve the look.

But IMO JP should win any ties in QB comeptition, and he should get the entire year for better or for worse.

If JP suclks then we draft top 5 and pick up a QB in next years draft. If JP can salvage us a 7-9 season we look for other postions and believe inJP's developement

That's just the way I feel

In next years' draft, i'm firmly believing that the Bills should look to the DE position as Gaines Adams of Clemson or Quentin Moses of Georgia would look awfully good in the Bills colors! Time to find a dominating pass rusher.....
