Ice, thats JPs stats? sounds pretty good. DJ will get this team on track if he just ENDS this crap and names JP so the team can start to gell!In my day we did not have self-esteem... we had self-respect, and no more of it then we earned.

The job is his, if DJ does't name him starter this week then he is screwing up. Another week of farting around by splitting reps in practice is going to set this team back. Does DJ have any intent at all of at least putting up a competitive game against NE? If so, name Losman the man and let him prepare the next 3 weeks

Re: 63% completion % and 98 rating
Bills coach Dick Jauron offered a similar sentiment.
“J.P. did some outstanding things and then, you know, some things you just can’t have,” he said.
Jauron said he would have to review the game tape before announcing whether there would be any changes to the quarterback depth chart.

Take out the fumbles and no would be arguing. He made mistakes but he moved the chains. Alot more exciting than "dink and dunk".
If Nall hadn't got hurt maybe there would have been a real competition. Nall should play after losman next week.
Announce Losman as the starter and give him a half. Let Nall start the second half.

BTW.. 85.2 is quite a bit better than the Drewler averaged for his entire career here in Buffalo.Last edited by Yasgur's Farm; 08-19-2006, 10:31 AM.

Re: 63% completion % and 98 rating
He's also among the league leaders in turnovers. JP Losman should not be awarded the starting job yet because he has yet to show the consistency one would desire from a good starting QB. He has a good drive then 2 bad ones, another good one, and then another bad one. The fact that some people think this is ok is somewhat bothersome, however what is more confusing is that fact that some people are playing off his three turnovers as if they didnt matter. Lets keep in mind we lost by those 13 points that resulted from the turnovers. Yes pre-season results dont matter, but giving up 13 free points is ALWAYS inexcusable.COMING SOON...

Yes, JP is the Bills best QB on the team. That's not really saying much, now is it?

You said "Lets keep in mind we lost by those 13 points that resulted from the turnovers"
We gave up 20 points because of turnovers. Don't just blame Losman and the 13 POTs he was responsible for.
