White Helmets

I wish we'd go back to the white helmets with the blue buffalos and red stripes. It would look really sharp with these jerseys.

If anyone remembers one of the reasons we went to a red base helmet was because no one else in the division used one. It made it easier to pick out the Bills recievers. At the time the switch was made the division was all white base helmets.

Patriots-white with that red coat guy on the side
Jets- White with the Jets logo
Colts- white
Dolphins- white

I think we should keep it for the very same reason. Red is a good color for Drew to be looking for as he throws downfield. Especially in the snow

I wouldn't care if we go back to white as long as it was some sort of metallic white or something a little better looking than standard helmet white.

unfortunatly everytime I think of Joe, the 1980 championship game with the Bengals comes to mind. The drive near the end, then........Joe's shoe comes off and the clock runs out

there was a wee bit more involved but thats the memory Im stuck with

haha! When the Red helmets first came out, I wasn't too thrilled (slow for change I guess), but now I'd rather have them than the white ones.

I believe the Jets had green helmets back then.

That could very well be true, I remember them having them (green)during the Richard Todd/ Ken Obrien years :)
