Bust in 2 sports. QBs who go baseball 1st then NFL have an extremely high bust rate. For a QB, it's almost impossible to take time off from a football career, to pursue another sport, then come back & be successful at the NFL level. It doesn't even help if you go back to college after the baseball career doesn't work out. What's even worse is the way Henson did it, with no football in between leaving college for baseball & then going cold into the NFL. When Dallas signed him, I spoke about why he would fail and attributed it not only to rust but the basic fact that he loved baseball, not football and no QB who doesn't love the game of football can succeed in the NFL. Just compare Drew Henson's choice and attitude to Jim Kelly's. Even though he's been retired for years he still loves going on the field at the Ralph, even if it's just to cheer on the Bills & occasionally meet a Bills player who scored a TD in the endzone.

i was very strongly against him when he came out.. as i am sure many of you remember. he was one of the most overhyped athletes ever.. the fact that he is a millionaire makes me sick. i hope he flips over the handlebars of his bike and knocks out his two front teeth.

Ryan leaf deserves a 2nd chance so lets get him. He's coaching HS or something so he obviously still knows the game.

Skooby, it would scare me if you held a position of authority with any NFL franchise. Would your starting backfield consist of Drew Henson at QB with Lawrence Phillips at HB, then coax Sam Gash out of retirement to play FB?
Lemme guess, you'd give Jerry Rice a chance at being the number 1 receiver too right? And for nostalgia sake, bring back Don Beebe!

Bringing in any QB at this point, barring injury to the three that we have, would be counter productive. No matter who is the starter they need the time to progress and the confidence that there isn't somebody in the wings to take over as soon as they slip.

KH, with all of his flaws, still has 11 years of experience and some limited success in the NFL. Drew Henson has a bat from the Columbus Clippers.

don't forget that shared qb-ship with tom brady, the ONLY reason he has any credibility at QB........ because of what happened with brady, they thought could happen with him

We already have one backup QB in Craig Nall who has barely seen the field in 10 years, we don't need any more projects.

Hmm, should I go with the serious answer or the corny one? What the heck, I'll go with corny. What, you want the Bills to run a Muppet offence?
