All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!

Bust in 2 sports. QBs who go baseball 1st then NFL have an extremely high bust rate. For a QB, it's almost impossible to take time off from a football career, to pursue another sport, then come back & be successful at the NFL level. It doesn't even help if you go back to college after the baseball career doesn't work out. What's even worse is the way Henson did it, with no football in between leaving college for baseball & then going cold into the NFL. When Dallas signed him, I spoke about why he would fail and attributed it not only to rust but the basic fact that he loved baseball, not football and no QB who doesn't love the game of football can succeed in the NFL. Just compare Drew Henson's choice and attitude to Jim Kelly's. Even though he's been retired for years he still loves going on the field at the Ralph, even if it's just to cheer on the Bills & occasionally meet a Bills player who scored a TD in the endzone.
I think Maurice Clarett is still available. I heard he used to be really good. Let's sign him!

i was very strongly against him when he came out.. as i am sure many of you remember. he was one of the most overhyped athletes ever.. the fact that he is a millionaire makes me sick. i hope he flips over the handlebars of his bike and knocks out his two front teeth.

Skooby, it would scare me if you held a position of authority with any NFL franchise. Would your starting backfield consist of Drew Henson at QB with Lawrence Phillips at HB, then coax Sam Gash out of retirement to play FB?
Lemme guess, you'd give Jerry Rice a chance at being the number 1 receiver too right? And for nostalgia sake, bring back Don Beebe!
