He is looking AWESOME in the first half thus far. This game should be at least 14-7 right now but the team is blowing it with stupid penaltys or in Shelton's case... the lack of apposable thumbs. That ball hit him right in the chest. Anyways, Y'all have to be pleased with the production from JP in the first half.

130 QB rating.

Rating doesn't mean anything. Kelly Homcomb has proved that.

Personally I am WATCHING the game and not relying on stats./radio feed/other peoples opinion.

And JP has made all the throws so far this game, hasn't really bounced any, has avoided the rush well also. His accuracy is much improved and hopefully its just not a blind squirrel finding a nut.

Interception was a bad decision, but overall he was much improved.

Young QB's have growing pains, I'm stoked about our future.

His throws looked great in the first half...not as good in the second. He seemed to get some pressure on him and the quality of the throws went down. He needs to stay relaxed at all times. I also did not like seeing him drop the ball under center and throw an INT. Plus, he made another throw he shouldn't have that should have been picked off. Overall, as I have been saying right along, if JP can keep his head together and keep doing what he does well we're going to be set.

He's played well, overall.

Next up - New England, and the real deal.

i was pleased with his overall performance.
He still tends to get rattled easily, and the delay of game penalty burned my ass.
But when he connects with Evans, it's a beautiful sight....and i was glad to see him throw the TD to Peerless.
His poise in the pocket is improving.

AND he had a TD run called back AND The OL Killed big gains and drives etc.
JP is doing just fine considering whats surrounding him

It wasn't a TD...he was called down before getting the ball into the end zone.

JP's making good process.

Rating means nothing now huh? It was your #1 Excuse for having holcomb stay in there last year.

Funny, now that JP knows how to play holcombs game and did what you haters asked of him, you now find new **** to say.

Best 2 and 1/2 quarters that JP has played as a Bill. Leaps and bounds ahead of his previous outings. Cool under presure. Confident, strong, accurate throws. Scrambled only as LAST resort. Delay of Game, fumbled snap - bad - but easily correctable. Most important what Lee Evans said postgame - JP is now TRUSTING his receivers to make the play, even if the situation is not perfect. THAT was the key to his performance tonight. He made the correct read, and let it fly.

Bills offense could be excitng this year. Mistakes are going to happen of course. They'll be fun to watch - and COULD put up big numbers.

Now, the defense, that's another story. They worry me. Good to see Takeo back, but I don't know if it will be enough. Run defense, and pass pressure are key.

All in all, I'm convinced that at least we're moving in the right direction. Finally!

I hate that I can't watch the games here in Europe. Can't wait until the season starts. GO JP!!!
