Hard to say which nine will be the first cuts, but it's easy to come up with nine names of guys who will be among those getting cut by the time Buffalo has to be at 53 players. Kiwaukee Thomas, Jason Thomas, Terrence Pennington (might be PS), Fred Jackson, Rob Lee (who I think can probably play in the NFL), Aaron Merz, George Wilson (who I know could play in this league), James Bethea, Eric Bassey (I'd love to see him make the PS and then play in NFL Europe).

DiGiorgio sealed his fate by missing that tackle near the end of the game when he let the guy run right out of his arms. I thought Sape played ok. Odom was just picked up this week though. I think Andre Davis might go as well.

That won't happen....not with the new contract Reed signed and with Davis' lack of doing much of anything this preseason

A new Coach is loyal to NO ONE from the past. This is Jaurons 2nd ( and probably last ) chance at being an NFL HC and he's only going to keep the players who can help him win. No more TD politics.

Unfortunately, Preston doesn't appear to be ready yet. He gets beat too much. He's fine for backup, but still hasn't stepped up to the next level yet...

This would be my list for cuts:

1. Rob Lee

2. Kingsbury - we're all set at QB

3. Joshua Cooper

4. John DiGiorgio - horrible

5. Jason Hall

6. Jefferson

7. Fred Jackson - the kid is decent. Give him a chance to make it somewhere else. We are too loaded at RB for him to even be considered...

8. Jon Goldsberry - we are too loaded at FB also and he hasn't stepped up to the next level anyway

9. Jason Thomas

None of these guys should be taking reps away from the other prospects who have a better chance to make the team or be put on a PS to possibly make the team in the future. These are what I would call the deadweights on the team.

Shelton's too good as a run blocker. While I agree JP's pass was right on the money, you can't really count on most fullbacks to catch downfield pass. If one of the WR's had dropped that one, I'd be with you

I think Ricard is gone too. Reading Jauron's comments last week, Ricars has not shown much and coupled with his injuries I think he goes.

Burns will stay as the back-up and ST guy.
