and honestly once a player becomes "its about the Money" attitude, then its time to part ways

Dumont Could have been had for 2million and we go and sign Connoly who might ever play again good move, i dont like this that was one of our best lines that we just broke up, Connoly gets a three year deal after having one good injuryplagued season, that just doesnt make sense to me,

JP has never even scored 25 goals a season. He will be replaced.

Connolly was looked at by doctors and the Sabres knew he may not be ready for camp when he was signed. Connolly has way more upside and is younger.

Isee your point thurm but he is very injury proned ala one hit and done, eric lindros style, i am glad we signed him but i was thinking since he would still be restricted for three more years we could have one yeared him to make sure he even has a upside left, hope so, i do belive jp can be replaced, i just wanted to keep the team together, hey u never know tradedeadline could bring him back here

well he wasnt offered a contract before arbitration like alot of the other players, said all along he wanted to stay here, then sabres walked away from arbitration ruling, which i agreed with , then got a low ball offer after cant blame him
