Marv was on during the game and he said they are watching the waiver wire closely. I think he said something about getting a DE but im not sure. Wasn't really paying attention. Was a boring game.

Fo me and my team, I'm wondering if Chris Brown, Ron Dayne, or Duce Staley will be cut. All with their question marks, but it wouldn't be bad to give any of them a look, especially since Sammy Morris has been suspended for the 1st 4 games.

Chris Brown? He is the starter.... Dayne and Staley are garbage.

Unless there are 5 good olinemen and an HC on the wire, I agree...stop posting.

One guy to watch for is Tony Brown of the Panthers. I am not saying the Bills must sign him but he seems like someone to watch...The Panthers D-line is very strong so it is a numbers game and they think he is one of those will get cut but signed by another team...He had 3 sacks in pre-season and blocking 2 FGs in NFL Europe tells me he is good at ST and may have a quick burst...Here is his bio
97 Tony Brown DT

I agree Dayne is but Staley can still be a decent back-up.

But we've heard of him, so he must automatically be better than anything we have.

(Never mind that he's washed up, injured, a head case or a slacker. Just sign him.)

I'd take a flyer on Dayne before Staley, but neither is any better than the guy we'll end up cutting.

Same with Pinkston.

Yeah, because Jauron has such a crappy record as Bills head coach.

And what is your problem with the O-line? This is a revamped O-line from last year. And giving up on Peters would be moronic.

No lets post realist, and homer all the time, now that is football talk, thing is that Marv is looking at the waiver wire, we are rebuilding, and i gurantee our PS is not made up FA in the off season so that just goes to show u they are not content with our roster, they are trying to get younger potential type players in here

I would not rule out Buffalo picking up a player or two, but I really don't much care because any such players are not going to make much difference this season.

If they sign one player who gets cut, IM praying its a DE..

It wouldnt take much to be better than denney or kelsay.

No, because Dick has sucked before and hasn't shown anything to change my mind. He doesn't get the benefit of the doubt in my book just because he's a new Bill coach.

Peters will be tooled. Mark my words. The oline is marginally better than last year but that's not exactly hard to do given how putrid it was. IMO, we'll have another new line in 3 years, with Peters maybe in a backup role. Rest of the line will be gone. Again, IMO.

B'cse we may have a new line next year won't mean that this one is going to suck. Turnover is now common on all teams, and few people outside of outstanding stars stay on a team for a long period of time.
