The preseason schedule on their website said 4 am on Sunday but the TV schedule on their website and DirecTV's schedule both seemed to disagree.

The preseason schedule on their website said 4 am on Sunday .That was likely how it was originally scheduled. They do change things semi-frequently...their TV schedule is usually the best source of accurate info

yeah, it happens, but it's 2006. The should be using some XML or something so when they change the schedule, it updates EVERYWHERE on their website and channel guides, etc. It's not even that hard.

You got it. Op you can use the wish list feature, compute key word "Buffalo Bills" and your TIVO will automatically record any program with Bill's content and you'll never ever have to worry about missing something as important as the fourth preseason game, ever.

Heck my company has a tool that puts an xml program on IP phones so that they can be monitored for any problems and you can send out remote updates the second they are on the server.

NFL Network is horrible about getting the TV guide and TIVO guides updated. You don't even get any information on the content of a show unless it is an NFL film. I stopped recording play book because it would fill my entire TIVO with reruns.

thanks for the advice- but the problem with that is that the NFL network tends to repeat shows- do you get a lot of duplicates?

Don't even think about trying to record Total access on a Season Pass ... You would fill up your system in about 2 days!
