My source being NFL live on ESPN, they just said there was a 4' o'clock deadline in which a deal must be met or else hes staying. It looks like this problem will continute into the season with Branch either putting his tail between his legs, or him sitting out for the remainder of his contract year and be a free agent next year.

So it looks like going into week 1 their #1 reciever is Rasheed Caldwell. With an uncertain rushing attack and a weak WR group. I see no reason why we cant pull out a W week 1. IMO we have just as much talent. Now lets see how our coaching pans out.

i believe thats the deadline set by the pats

since branch filed a grievance with the nflpa (http://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/56907/detail.html) i would expect that to be extended by the nfl at least 24 hours

we will find out shortly

Don't give in to that BS, Deion. Sit out and hold out. Destroy that locker room and make them pay you.

I really think our division is wide open now. Branch IMO is their best offensive weapon minus Brady, and Im not impressed with NE's D. Not to say they'll be bad, but they're on the downward spiral from their great years. Our first 3 games are the toughest stretch of the year imo. If we can take 2, ill be happy.
