OK, I have the 9th and 12th pick in the first round, keeping Portis and it is a point per reception league. I have a small predicament.

With the 9th pick overall, I should have a shot at the following players.

R. Brown
Holt
Fitz
McGahee.

Now, I think I would be nuts to pass on Holt there so if I take him at 9 and then at 10 he takes Brown and 11 takes McGahee then I am pretty much stuck with having to take Fitz (which isn't bad) but I would have no real RB's...My question is this, would you take Brown at 9 and take the best WR available or even McGahee at 12 and have 3 solid RB's and get a WR later.

And, if Brown is gone, do I take Holt and just take the best RB available at 12???

Thanks in advance guys, I appreciate it.

Take McGahee and Fitz

why on Earth would you even consider drafting a WR first? Holt is good, but McGahee or Ronnie Brown would do a lot more for you. and you could still get Holt or Fitz in the 2nd round most likely.

1 PT PER RECEPTION

I would consider taking both WRs

Take a RB at nine and a WR at 12.

Yes, it is 1 point per reception, that is why I am thinking WR first....Well, the draft happened last night and there were some BIG surprises....McGahee went 5th before Jordan (to a Fins fan) and I took Holt at 9 and Parker at 12....Overall, I am happy to get them both as Holt has been my keeper for the past 3 years but I traded for Portis and couldn't keep him again picking at #9 and 12 and was estatic to get him yet again. In other news, I was looking to get Evans in the 5th but he was taken 2 picks before me....Very upset.
