who do you think should be captain, the hell with this shared captaincy crap

Briere or Drury?

I think Danny is the better player, but leadership isn't defined by offensive or defensive skills on the ice. Drury has more playoff (and championship) experience than Briere, and that is more than enough reason for me to think he should always wear the 'C'.

It's kind of a 1a 1b situation. I gave it to Drury because he's been in the league a little longer and won a cup with the Av's.
Once we get our cup, then Danny can have the C!

I don't think Drury will be a Sabre after his contract is up so for consistancy and longevity I say Briere.

Your reasoning puzzles me....last I checked Danny only has a 1-year deal. If they couldn't get a deal done prior to arbitration this time out, what makes you so upbeat things will be so easy starting in 1/07?
