Tight Ends
The Bills need for a tight end is largely dependent upon whether they retain Jay Riemersma or not. If they do not, then Moore becomes the starter with no real backup having any significant experience.

This may be a need area that the Bills would be wise to wait until cap cuts to try and fill since the pickings available on free-agency do not exactly scream out “bonanza year for tight ends.” To the contrary, there are hardly any name TEs at all. ....MORE

I like the thought of this guy....

Roland Williams! That will bring a ton more fans to games. Rochester loves Roland! He loves Rochester. :D Plus, I have seen him play and he is a damn good player...he just hasn't been used enough. Maybe Fletcher can convince TD to look at him. They both played in the Super Bowl together.

Rochester D&C (sorry no links) quoted TD saying that Reimersma's claim that he offered a 2 million salary cut was a revelation to him.

Roland Williams might not play this year because of his knee. Last year he didn't play very much because of his knee, but to his credit he tried to play through the pain and it probably cost him this season.

Tight end isn't much of a worry
But if it turns to one we will sign someone in a hurry.

JR should just bite the bullet and take the cut. Anyone know how much of a cut the Bills are asking him to take?

Walls is washed up. Did you watch him this past season?

I've been a Walls fan for a long time and have always drafted him on my fantasy teams. But he wasn't good this year. Injuries/age are finally starting to catch up with him.

Besides, Moore is just fine as a starter. What we'll need is a backup. Right now we have no one assuming JR gets cut and Moore is retained.
