Why does anyone listen to the media

The people on ESPN know just as much as me and you do on whats gonna happen in the NFL. Any sort of die hard football fan can say whos gonna be good and gonna be bad but in all reality noone truely knows. I mean alot of us see the bills potetional and say they could be good and if we went on ESPN and talked about the bills and showed there strong points other people would bileve and think the same way. The media overhyped miami and then once big ben went down they said "OMG NO BIG BEN PITTS DONE". The media is full of dumbasses who know just about football as me and you. I dont kno why anyone listens to them.

One question: Do you actually go to each individual team's camp and training facilities and interview players and coaches yourself?

Because if you don't, your knowledge of football (or mine) comes from THE MEDIA.
