Headline: The Bills beat the Patriots today which started the rapture and the end of days. On a side note, Jesus was the holder for the game winning field goal..............more news at 11.

"The Bills didn't really win; the humanitarian Tedy Bruschi thought it was time to give the little guys some charity so he had his team back off."

The prevailing attitude, especially in New England, will be that the Bills caught this team without Branch or a healthy Bruschi. They'll also bemoan the trade for Gabriel that didn't allow him enough time to assimilate the offense. Excuses will abound, my friends!!

If the Bills win, we'll be leading the division.

If they had any class, they'd mention that maybe they better start getting ready to eat some crow, but they won't - they'll do little more than find a way to patronize the Pats, and maybe acknowledge that JP is now a legitimate QB, the D may be on it's way back to top 10 status, and maybe acknowledge that maybe, just maybe Marv Levy still knows a thing or two about football - but somehow I don't see all of that happening if we win.

Jesus plays LB for the Pats and holds FG's for the Bills? That's one talented player!

They media would chalk it up to a fluke. Now, if the Bills start out 2-0 (including 2-0 in the division), then the media will begin to take notice.

It will be about how the Pats didnt play to their potential. No credit what so ever will be given to the Bills.

I hope our guys glance at these boards and get even more fired up.

I really could see us beating the Pats... I just got a funny feeling - we're due for a victory at Gillette Stadium.

MEDIA: GOD(Bruschi) decided not to help the patriots this week and instead headed to Miami to help with Culchoker and his INT problems so the Bills overcame the doubts and upset GODS team.

They'll just forget about the Patriots for a week, and focus on Roethlisberger and the new Juggernaut Steelers.

Will he walk across it or part it? And what plague will he bring?

Luckily, that ESPN crew isnt calling the game.. That Sunday night game last year was disgusting I honestly had to turn the sound off by the 2nd quarter.

For the record, as a person I like Bruschi, its the MEDIA that makes a lot of people hate him

That will probably be the tack that most of the media will take as well--unless either McGahee or Losman does something spectacular (ie McGahee goes for 150 yds and 3 TDs or JP throws for 4+ TDs). Then, because the national media LOVES to hype individuals/stars and has a real soft spot for "redemption" stories, they might give that player some love, but just for a week and always with the above excuses for the Pats to make the Bills' performance conditional.

If the Bills win, there wont be any talk about the Bills, all the talk will be about how bad the Pats look.

I hate the media more than I hate the Fins, thats saying alot.

Really, positive or negative, hyping or not hyping, who cares what the media says? The only time the media is right is when they're showing the scores, and even then they have a chance to flub it w/ a typo.
