There are reasons to be encouraged by this game. Losman looked good. Our running game looked decent. Some of the rookies contributed on D. Spikes looks like he's back, assuming the hammy injury isn't major. We hung with NE for 2+ quarters. There are some reasons to believe that this team may be better than I thought.

But that doesn't change the fact that this was a winnable game that we lost due to stupid mistakes. We blew a 10-point lead and got shut out in the second half. That's inexcusable

And two major areas of concern: second half adjustments and run D.

O-line esp Gandy looked very bad. The left side constantly gave up penetration..

But i'm very pumped about what i saw from us today... Ko Simpson playing is a great sign...
