Jauron decides to kick the field goal. We lose 22-20 and everyone talks how we should have gone for it on 4th and 1 when we had momentum. How winning coaches like Bellichek went for it twice on 4th down and won the game.

I do too. It's about time our coach finally showed some balls. And some confidence in the running game. If only Willis pushed a little harder.

I don't agree with this...and the funny thing is in most cases I would have loved the call. On the road going for it there is usually a good choice. However, I thought at the time we had surprisingly outplayed NE and had a lot of pressure on the ***. When we failed to score there it really threw the balance of the game into their hands for the first time...and they ran with it. I don't think it's as simple as just picking up and adding up the points for the rest of the game...the situation is completely different and would yield a different outcome.

wait, back the truck up here. You said that you LIKED Jauron's decision to go for it on 4th down. This thread is saying that if he went for the FG, we would have lost anyway, so it's defending the decision that you said you liked.

                    But you BOO this thread?

Which is it? Did Jauron make the right decision or should he have kicked the FG? Make up your mind.

I always want to go for it, so I'm not going to ever knock a coach for that.

                              Good thread.
